RatMIDI

Overview

RatMIDI makes notes, not sound. Pick a genre recipe, roll the dice, and it generates drums, melody, harmony, and bass that actually fit together — the combine mode writes all the parts from one shared harmonic context, so the bass follows the chords and the melody isn't fighting either of them. Everything is seeded: lock the seed and you can tweak density, swing, and range without losing the take you liked. Audition parts right in the plugin with a built-in preview synth and drum sounds, then drag each part straight onto a DAW track as a standard MIDI file and play it with any instrument you want. It loads as a regular instrument, so it works everywhere — including Ableton.
