Overview

EightOhEight is a monophonic 808 bass synthesizer built for clarity and instant results. The voice runs a sine oscillator through a pitch envelope for that signature 808 thump, into a three-mode saturator (tanh / hard clip / wavefolder), a state-variable filter with envelope modulation, an AHD amp envelope, and a click transient for attack. The headline Mild→Wild macro adds curated drive, resonance, pitch-envelope, and level offsets from a single automatable knob — so you can go from clean sub to distorted, industrial low-end without touching the preset.
