Audio-Reactive Visual Synth · Audio Effect
RatVision
Design a music video the same way you design a synth patch.

Overview
RatVision is an audio-reactive visual synthesizer that lives on an audio track. Audio passes through unchanged; RatVision listens to it (sub, bass, low-mid, mid and high bands, RMS, peak, transients, stereo width, spectral centroid, plus kick and snare hits), reads tempo, position and loop state from the host, and drives procedural GPU visuals in the plug-in's Eye viewport. Pick one of 18 generators (Subspace Tunnel, Pulse Rings, Particle Field, Wire Grid, Liquid Field, Kaleido Core, Fractal Bloom, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Architecture, Void Shapes, Plasma, Voronoi Cells, Starfield, Nebula, Lissajous, Spectrogram Waterfall, Boids, and Emblem for your own logo or artwork), stack up to four of 16 post effects (from Bloom, Feedback and Kaleidoscope to Film Grain, Scanlines and Datamosh), then map anything to anything: drag BASS onto a knob in the MAP workspace and it moves. Four LFOs, an eight-slot modulation matrix, MIDI input (note, velocity, gate, aftertouch, pitch bend, CC) and an optional sidechain feed the visuals. Eight scenes per patch switch with six transition types from an automatable Scene Select, and eight named macros, Blackout and Freeze are always on screen. Open a clean output window on a second display or projector for live shows, or capture a performance and let the included RatVision Render app turn it into an H.264, HEVC or ProRes movie (or a PNG sequence) with your audio, rendering the same frames every time. 34 factory presets come in eight genre banks.
