Overview

BrassKnuckles is real sampled brass with two personalities. On the organic side you get four instruments, velocity crossfades, vibrato, growl, and a section engine that stacks up to 8 virtual players with human detune and timing — so stabs sound like a band, not a keyboard patch. Falls and Rises are built in as articulations, tempo-syncable so drops land on the grid. On the modern side the same engine turns into trap and festival brass: a pitch-tracked sub layer for 808-adjacent weight, hard-detuned unison for braams, and an FX chain with five saturation modes, OTT, dub delay with a throw button, and a tempo-synced ducker. Twenty presets cover ska, dub, funk, cinematic swells, trap stabs, and big-room leads.

Features

  • Sampled trumpet, trombone, french horn, and tuba
  • Ensemble engine: 1–8 players with spread and looseness
  • Sustain, staccato, fall, and rise articulations with keyswitches
  • Pitch-tracked sub layer for trap/EDM weight
  • Ensemble spread up to ±50 cents for detuned braams
  • 8-module FX chain: EQ, saturation, comp, OTT, chorus, dub delay, reverb, ducker
  • 20 factory presets from ska stabs to war horns

Tube Length, Girth, Bends, Angle, Material and End Caps shape the resonator; four exciters (Blow, Hit, Whirl and the Rat) drive it; six sampled pipe families (recorder, ocarina, didgeridoo, organ pipe, flute, whistle) sit under it; a Wormhole feeds the tube back through a pitch shifter and three Warp LFOs bend the tube to the beat.AUVST3StandalonemacOSWindows$14.50$29VIEW →
